We introduced the MCTC Safe Food Handling and Nutrition Course on a few vessels in mid-2016 and expanded the program to the entire fleet six months later. Recognizing the need to promote healthy living on board, we wanted all our catering teams to benefit and further develop their skill under the professional guidance of MCTC’s friendly and cooperative staff.

Their unique consultancy service, with clearly defined targets for each training module, is very hands-on and includes both practical and theoretical components as well as on-board visits, which we find extremely useful. The feedback from Masters and crew has been very positive, and we are meanwhile also collaborating on other customized training activities.
